NAACS (Northwest Arrowmen Arts and Ceremonies Seminar)

Location:  Camp Rilea

Cost:  $35 for Youth (under 21 years of age) $40 for Adults (21+ years of age)- covers room and board for the weekend.  There are fees assocaited with add on items and classes as well.  They are as follows:

  • $15 - 2019 Lodge Membership Dues (If you have not already renewed)
  • $80 - Drum Making Class - approx. 4 hours - pre-registration required
  • $60 - Flute Making Class - approx. 4 hours - pre-registration required
  • FREE - Brotherhood Conversion

When creating a new registration, If you do not wish to add any of the options above, be sure to click the Save button on the Classes tab and then the Continue button on the following popup without selecting any of the above options.  This will allow you to continue without any add-ons.

All payments for "add on" items  are to be made online and in advance.

NAACS (Native American Arts Ceremonies Seminar) is the lodge’s premier event for learning more about Native American culture and traditions. Come and expand you knowledge on ceremonies, whether you are just starting out or are a seasoned veteran. Learn how to create your very own regalia and learn about different styles of costuming, as well as participate in arts and crafts. Attend hands-on classes on Saturday with workshops such as beading, drum-making, costuming, feather-making, ceremonies, dancing, and much more. Then, on Saturday night, participate in a Potlatch and learn more about pow-wow drumming and dancing, as well as enjoy an excellent dinner. There will also be a Brotherhood ceremony Saturday night for those eligible to achieve the Brotherhood Honor.

All Arrowmen are welcome to attend NAACS.

 Things To Bring:

  • Scout Uniform (OA sash and all)
  • Costuming/Regalia (optional)
  • Sleeping Bag and Toiletries
  • Warm Clothes
  • Extra Spending Money*

NOTE: During registration, in the field labeled Registration Notes, please enter the number of previous NAACS events you have attended and whether you are a certified ceremonialist.
