Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to help someone who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge. The training helps you identify, understand and respond to signs of addictions and mental illnesses. 

A young person you know could be experiencing a mental health or substance use problem.

Notes

  • Participants must be 18 or older to attend.
  • Participants must be present for the entire training in order to receive certification. 
  • There will be two 15 minute breaks and one hour break for lunch. 
  • Lunch is not provided. Participants encouraged to bring their own lunch, water, etc.
