IOLS Training at March Super Weekend

March 2 - 3, 2019

Who should attend: Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Webelos Leaders, Venturing Leaders, anyone associated with the outdoor program.

SM/ASM training is completed with Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS). If you have not completed SM/ASM Leader Specific Training, come anyway! You can pick up the missing sessions at a later date.

Rank requirement skills from Tenderfoot thru 1st Class including:

  • Campsite & Firesite Selection
  • Plant ID, Animal ID, Packing & Hiking,
  • Map & Compass, Ropes & Knots, Woods Tools

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) will be held in conjunction with the Council Super Weekend. If you are attending with a Super Weekend unit, you should register, sleep and eat with that unit. The only meal you will not eat with your unit is Saturday lunch, which will be covered by your course fee.

If you are attending without a host unit, you will be assigned to sleeping accommodations. All meals will be provided as part of your registration fee.
