Girls Can Camp in CPC

Many, many parents of Scouts attending our resident camps have said, "It'd be wonderful if I could bring my daughter, too. She'd love it!"

Though we are the Boy Scouts of America, there are opportunities for girls to join us at camp and do everything the Scouts get to do. Sisters of Scouting families may attend our Family Camps at Butte Creek and at Camp Clark, and, beginning in 2018, young girls registered in Cub Scouts are encouraged to attend any Cub Scout Resident Camp or Day Camp with their Den or Pack.

Butte Creek is located south of Molalla, Oregon, about one hour from Portland.

Butte Creek offers panning for gold, learning to rope a steer, and fishing. The session is 3 days and 2 nights of great cowgirl fun.

Camp Clark is located south of Cape Lookout on the Oregon Coast, about two hours from Portland.

At Camp Clark, campers can learn all about the Native American history by making pottery, cooking in a horno, or playing on the beach. This program is 6 days and 5 nights.

Family Camp at Butte Creek & Clark: A minimum ratio of one parent per six girls is required, with two adults minimum per the BSA Youth Protection Two-Deep Leadership Policy. If attending as individual, one parent or guardian will need to accompany their daugther. In addition, full families may participate as well. All parents are welcome to attend. This becomes a fantastic father-daughter, mother-daugher, or full family event.  All participants must have at least one family member registered in Scouting to attend.
