Welcome, Scouters!

The Pacific Shores District of the Cascade Pacific Council, BSA, serves the Astoria, Jewell, Knappa, Long Beach, Neah-Kah-Nie, Nestucca Valley, Seaside, Tillamook, Warrenton school districts.

Volunteers and paid professionals from the district support the packs, troops, and crews that make Scouting happen through mentoring, events, and administrative support to adult leaders.

District News & Events

Sea Scouting is back in Pacific Shores District! A new Sea Scout Ship is accepting members ages 14 through 18 in Astoria. Sea Scouts in this Ship  come from Long Beach, Naselle, Astoria, Warrenton and Seaside.  The Ship will provide training, experience and adventure in small motor boating ,sailing, and large ship operation aboard a 105 foot ocean going tugboat.  Contact Joe Garrett at 360-214-2378 or snojoe1978@gmail.com for information.

Pacific Shores District Roundtables are held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Seaside Elks Lodge, Avenue A, Seaside, OR. Typically we will all meet together for updates and news items, then breakout into sessions for Cubs, Scouts and Venturing/Sea Scouting.  The meetings are scheduled to end at 8:30 PM, but many times we end up visiting afterwards.
