Chemistry Merit Badge Day at OMSI

Saturday, October 12, 2019

THIS EVENT IS FULL

10:00AM - 12:00PM

OMSI and the Cascade Pacific Council have been working together to bring our Scouts an opportunity to earn the Chemistry merit badge.  Chemistry explores how substances react with each other, how they change, how certain forces connect molecules, and how molecules are made are all parts of chemistry. Stretch your imagination to envision molecules that cannot be seen – but can be proven to exist – and you become a chemist.

Each scout will receive some educational programming and some supplemental activity at the museum that will align with the badge subject. We also have built in enough time for each boy to meet with a Merit Badge Counselor if we have enough volunteers.
