Celebrate 100 Years of Scouting in our Council

Celebrate 100 years of Scouting in the Columbia and Willamette Valley region.

For 100 years Scouting in our area has helped young people to make good ethical choices by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. As we set out to celebrate our long history of tradition we hope to create a year long celebration and to focus on activities that improve program quality, promote the relevancy of Scouting throughout our neighborhoods and develop a sense of pride in ownership in our members and supporters. Below are some of the things your can do to support our 100th Anniversary.

Council Centennial Award

2016 marks the Centennial of Scouting in the Portland and surrounding areas.  The Centennial committee has put out a challenge to our Scouts and Scouters to celebrate this event through a series of requirements in four focus areas. Families, Scouting, Service, and History. Select the Council Centennial Award to learn more.
