Cub Scout NOVA & Super NOVA Awards

Second - fifth graders can earn awards that focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) with this supplemental program. Packs should purchase the “Cub Scout NOVA Awards Guidebook” for full details and requirements. Any leader can be an instructor for the basic NOVA Awards. However, similar to our merit badge counselor requirements, counselors for the Cub Scout and Webelos Super NOVA awards need to be approved by the district.

To be approved, applicants need to submit an adult application, their youth protection certificate, and include the NOVA Counselor Information Form. Click here to download this form.
