A: Doubleknot is the provider of our online reservation system.
Q: How Do I/Can I make changes to a reservation?
A: Go to www.cpcbsa.org/register and click on the User Logon button to access your account.
Q: When I go to register for an event I get three options, which one should I choose?
A: There are three options to log into the system. Choose the best one for you:
To continue without sign on: for individuals who help others with the registration process.
To sign on using an existing User ID: for Participants who have used the system before. Forgotten User IDs and Passwords can be sent to your email, if needed.
To create a new User ID and password and sign on: for Participants who have never used the system before. You will set up a User ID and Password.
Q: How do I make a second payment to an existing reservation?
A: Go to www.cpcbsa.org/register and click on the User Logon button to access your account. Your username is most likely the email used when you made the reservation. Your password can be emailed to you from here if you have forgotten. Once you are logged in click “View Reservations” then “View Details” and “Make a Payment.”
Q: Do I have to pay with my credit card?/Can I still send in a Check?
A: You have the option to make an online or offline payment with most events. Offline payments should be sent promptly to the Cascade Pacific Council, BSA 2145 SW Naito Parkway Portland OR 97201 with a copy of your reservation confirmation receipt and the reservation number written on the check.
Q: Can I just go into the office to make my reservation without using the online system?
A: Reservations must be completed online. Your DE or the Volunteer Services desk are happy to assist you with making a reservation, and a lobby computer is available for your use.
Q: Can I manage multiple reservations at a time?
A: Yes. One of the reasons it is so important to sign on to your account is so you are able to manage multiple reservations. It is very easy to see all your reservations once you are logged on to the system.
Q: How do I know my reservation/payment went through?
A: The system will automatically send a confirmation/receipt to the email you entered on the payment page. If you do not receive an email receipt within one hour please log on and make sure the reservation was placed.
Q: When I go to place a camp shirt pre-order I get an error that says "Timed Out" what can I do to place my order?
A: Please reboot your computer and try again or clear out your temporary internet files and try again. To clear out your temporary internet files try this:
For Internet Explorer 7:
- Click on Tools -> Internet Options
- On the General Tab select the Delete button under Browsing history
- In the window that opens Have them delete "Temporary Internet Files" and "Delete Cookies"
For Firefox:
- Click on Tools -> Options
- Select the Privacy Tab
- Click on the Clear Now button
GENERAL ISSUES
Browser Issues.
A: Internet Explorer is the recommended browser, other browsers may not work well. The online system does not work well with Mozilla Firefox.
I have opened up my account, but I do not see all of my reservations.
A: Perhaps the reservation was made without signing on to your account. Please call the office at 503-226-3423 for assistance.
I don’t have a computer.
A: If you do not have a personal computer, and cannot borrow a friend’s or go to the library to use one. The Cascade Pacific Council has a computer in the lobby to use at your convenience.
I don’t know my password.
A: Go to www.cpcbsa.org/register and click on the User Logon button. Follow the link “If you have forgotten your User ID or Password click here.”
