How to Apply

The basic application and hiring process is as follows*:

1. Submit the following to the Internship Coordinator:

A cover letter stating which position(s) you are interested in and what you can offer to the position(s).
A copy of your résumé
At least three references: professional and personal


2. Selected applicants will be asked to schedule an interview.

3. Internship is contingent upon passing a background check.

Marketing (Graphic & Design) Intern

Marketing (Communications) Intern & Grant Writing Assistant

Grant Writing Intern  

    Cascade Pacific Council Outreach Programs strive to develop and deliver engaging, research based academic, character, leadership and career focused programs that guide and enable all students to achieve their full potential.  We provide engaging and relevant solutions that positively impact academic performance, social & emotional maturity, character development, and career education for all students.

 

Internship Description:

Provide support to the Director of Community Impact, the Outreach Programs Coordinator, and the Internship Coordinator in the grant writing process.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a related field at an accredited university/college
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong research skills
  • Must pass a criminal background check

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior grant writing experience

Marketing / Graphic Design Intern

    Cascade Pacific Council Outreach Programs strive to develop and deliver engaging, research based academic, character, leadership and career focused programs that guide and enable all students to achieve their full potential.  We provide engaging and relevant solutions that positively impact academic performance, social & emotional maturity, character development, and career education for all students.

 

Internship Description:

Become a part of the Cascade Pacific Council Outreach marketing team.  Projects have included web design, newsletter layouts, creating logos, and print production.  Future projects could include photography and videography.  Approximately 10-25 hours/week. 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in classes in a related field at an accredited university/college
  • Must pass a criminal background check

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Joomla web design
  • Social Media

Criminal Justice Intern

    Cascade Pacific Council Outreach Programs strive to develop and deliver engaging, research based academic, character, leadership and career focused programs that guide and enable all students to achieve their full potential.  We provide engaging and relevant solutions that positively impact academic performance, social & emotional maturity, character development, and career education for all students.

 

    Learning for Life is an outreach educational program targeting the highest risk youth in our community. We provide after school and in school programs that give young people the opportunity to learn about their community, enhance their self-esteem, learn safety when they are home alone, and come to understand their importance to our community. 

 

Internship Description:

Opportunities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with at-risk youth in an academic setting

  • Assist with grant writing research

  • Assist in curriculum management

 

Required Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in an accredited criminal justice program

Must pass a criminal background check


Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working with youth

Have an interest in the preventative, social sciences, and/or teaching aspect of Criminal Justice.

CPR Certified

Social Work Intern

Practicum Description:

Opportunities may include, but are not limited to:

Working with at-risk youth in an academic setting

Assist in curriculum development and/or analysis

Research, develop, and present a staff training

Assist with grant writing research

Participate with the Special Needs Committee

 

Required Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in an accredited social work program

Must pass a criminal background check

 

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working with youth

CPR Certified
