Fanning the Flames of Leadership - Wood Badge 2013

 

What is Wood Badge:

Wood Badge for the 21st Century, is the premier training program for all Scout leaders in the Boy Scouts of America. This includes all Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity and Venturing Leaders, as well as Professional Scouters. Wood Badge is designed to train adult volunteers using the latest leadership skills and techniques. It is a once in a life time training experience, designed to strengthen your unit.

Wood Badge is:

• Scouting’s Premier Training Course                                  • A “Mountain-Top” Experience 

• An Experience in the Patrol Method                                  • Practical Learning of Scouting’s Skills and Methods

• A Worldwide Experience                                                  • 94 Years Old

• A Realization of the Boy Scout Mission, Vision, and Values

 

When & Where:

The 2013 Wood Badge course will consist of Two 3-Day Sessions (Fri - Sun)

Weekend One; April 12-14 at Camp Clark

Weekend Two; May 3-5 at Camp Clark

 

Cost:   

Price includes all meals, program materials, & recognition items.

      $210 Course fee, $85 deposit due at the time of registration.

      Balance must be paid in full by March 15, 2013.

                                  

Who May Attend:

Anyone Who:

            Is currently registered in Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Venturing or Varsity

            Is at least 18 years of age

            Has completed basic training in their registered Scouting position

            Has a current Annual Health and Medical Record form. medical form
