Individual units have some options on fundraising projects within BSA fundraising guidelines. Click here to read the guidelines. Unit fund-raising projects must obtain written approval from the Council at least 14 days prior to the activity.
Camp Cards offer the purchaser discounts at several local retailers. Cards include a few one-time use coupons and about a dozen year-long discount offers worth about $50 to the purchaser. Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops, Varsity Teams, and Venturer Crews can participate to raise funds for summer camp. The sale campaign starts in March and ends in May of each year.
In August Scouts will receive the sales guide in the mail. The guide contains products and prize information. Scouts can sell the products from August 24 - Octover 21, 2012. Using the mailer product order form, Scouts can sell the products door-to-door or in person. The product will be delivered in November just in time for holiday gift-giving.
Training will occur August 23 at the Clark Public Utilities Meeting Room, 1200 Ft. Vancouver Way, Vancouver
Clark County Scouting units coordinate a regional tree recycling program. The pick-up usually occurs the first Saturday in January. Contact the District Chair for information. Units must submit a Money Earning Application before the last day of November to participate.
