FOS TURN IN!

Happy April Scouters!!!!!

April is just a snowballs throw away, and the Friends of Scouting Family Campaign is coming to a head.
I am glad to say that we have gotten over 50% of our goal. YEAH!!!
I thank all of the units who stepped forward to participate in this year's campaign.
Now for all of the units that are not Presidential Units.
Most of you just need to turn in your FOS envelopes to get credit and to see where you stand.
Some of you need to have a 2nd presentation to get you over the Presidential Hump.
And a very few of you need my help in participating at your unit's capacity.

Which category is your unit in?
Scoutmasters and Cubmasters are being contacted in the next week
to discuss their category and to see what help you need.

Yours In Scouting,
Patrick Huggins
Friends of Scouting Chairman

2008 Centennial Quality Unit Commitment!
Let's recommit ourselves to the 2008 Quality Unit Award.
The Quality Unit Award is an award that recognizes unit achievement
in the areas of leader training, membership recruiting, Scout rank
advancement, and outdoor activities.
The award is unique since it allows the unit to set its own goals.
The award is given to all Scouts and their leaders that meet or exceed their goals.
Please complete the 2008 Quality Unit Commitment Form and mail it to the Volunteer Service Center.
