Services: The District Training chair has the responsibility to plan, prepare, promote and present a complete program of training to meet the needs revealed by accurate and up-to-date training records. The motto of “every boy deserves a trained leader” should be at the forefront of all activity.Background: Sherri McPherson has been involved in Scouting since 1993 beginning with her son’s participation in Tiger Cubs and Cub Scouts. She has been active in various leadership positions with Troop 127, Lake Oswego, from 1998 to present. Sherri is currently serving as Pioneer District Training Chair. Her son, Nicholas McPherson, is an Eagle Scout from Troop 127. Sherri McPherson is Vice President, Professional Development at the Oregon Society of CPAs where she has been on staff since 1981.
