Silver
Beaver
|
A National BSA Award
presented by the Cascade Pacific Council. The Silver Beaver Award is
made for noteworthy service of exceptional character to youth by
registered Scouters, Cub Scouters, Varsity Scouters, and Venturing
leaders within the territory under the jurisdiction of the Cascade
Pacific Council. |

Award
of Merit
|
A Cascade Pacific Council
Award presented to a District Scouter who is a registered BSA adult and
has rendered service of an outstanding nature within their district. The
award is made available annually on the basis of one for each 25 units
in the district, or fraction thereof. The Award of Merit selection
committee, appointed each year by the district chairman, is composed of
distinguished, dedicated and knowledgeable Scouters drawn from
throughout the community. Each member has previously received the Award
of Merit. |

Inspirational
|
A Silver Star District Award
presented to a Pack, Troop, Team, Crew, or District adult leader with a
minimum tenure of one year who possesses the Scouting Spirit and passes
it on, does their best and encourages others to do the same, leads youth
and adults by example to continue Scouting, and, shows a giving and
caring sprit for fellow Scouters. |

Family
|
A Silver Star District Award
presented to an adult leader and family with a minimum tenure of one
year who are trained and active in Unit and District level positions. |
|
Rookie
of the Year
|
A Silver Star District Award
presented to an adult leader at the District level during the first
three years of active District service for very visible and promising
service to Scouting. |
|
Extra
Miler
|
A Silver Star District Award
presented to District Award of Merit recipients who are currently active
in Unit and District levels and shows continued enthusiasm toward
Scouting. |
|
Distinguished
Scouter
|
A Silver Star District Award
presented to a Pack, Troop, Team, Crew, or District adult leader with a
minimum of three years tenure, trained in a registered position,
involved in at least two activities, is reliable, and goes above and
beyond what is merely required. |
|
Community
Service
|
A Silver Star District Award
presented to a Pack, Troop, Team, Crew, or District adult leader with a
minimum of one year tenure who gives service to their community, as well
as, Scouting; and, who is involved in organizations committed to
community service, giving weight to leadership roles, achievements, and
the promotion of youth involvement in Scouting ideals. |

|
A Silver Star District Award
presented to a Pack, Troop, Team, Crew, or District adult leader after
registering in BSA who exudes zest and cheerfulness and supports the
Scouting program with abundant enthusiasm; the one with a contagious
smile. |
Golden Oak Tree Award
(not always available)
|
An Award
presented to a trained adult leader in a Pack, Troop, Team, Crew, or
District with a minimum of three years tenure who is always willing to
help youth and other leaders; is involved in Unit activities; is a
mentor to youth and helps them gain leadership skills; always lives by
the values of Scouting in action and appearance. |

Silver Acorn Award
(not always available)
|
An Award
presented to a trained adult leader in a Pack, Troop, Team, Crew, or
District adult leader with two years or less tenure who is actively
involved in the lives of youth and the Unit; always represents the
values of Scouting in appearance and action; and, expresses the desire
to continue in the Scouting program. |
