Prepared. For Life.
Partnering with community members to create educational and engaging opportunities for our youth. Spirit DaysWe had the wonderful opportunity to visit our teams during practice and see how they interact outside of game time. Teams engaged in team-building exercises focused on planning, communication, cooperation, and teamwork. Please view the pictures below to see their outstanding camaraderie and enthusiasm.
Community Leader / Civil Servant VisitPortland Park Rangers Cardis,Travis and Elsa were kind enough to come to our semi-finals game and speak with our players about their work for Portland Parks and Recreation. After their games players learned from the Park Rangers: the importance of our great public parks, the role of a Park Ranger, and about things youth can do to help our parks. Without our public parks the facilities we use for our soccer seasons would be unavailable. We are incredibly grateful to Cardis, Travis, and Elsa for engaging with our youth and look forward to working with them again in the future.
