Has your unit visited Meriwether during the off season and  expressed interest in wanting to take advantage of camp programs outside of the normal summer season?  Well the Meriwether Super Weekend and its program has been designed to meet your needs.  Throughout the weekend your unit will have the opportunity to take full advantage of the entire camp and all of its programs. 

All shooting ranges will be open, along with the waterfront and climbing tower.  The Nature and Campcraft area will also have self guided work areas for your Scouts.  The weekend has been designed for play and for advancement work, both with the Trail to First Class and working on partial requirements that your Scouts need to finish up that merit badge left over from camp.

The program for the Meriwether Super Weekends has been developed so the Scouts in your unit can take full advantage of many program areas at camp.  Most areas will be open for the majority of program time for open activites, i.e. shooting, climbing and swimming.  They will also each have specific times set aside devoted to finishing up merit badge requirements left over from summer camp.  Specific details on all program offerings can be found in the Meriwether Super Weekend Program Guide.  This guide also contains all the logistical information you will need to know prior to arrival.

Super Weekends will occur over the first weekend of every month from October through May.  The actual dates are as follows:

      October 5-7, 2012

      November 2-4, 2012           

      November 30-December 2, 2012

      January 4-6, 2013

      February 1-3, 2013

      March 1-3, 2013

      April 5-7, 2013

      May 3-5, 2013

The cost differs depending on the time of the year. For those months in Daylight Savings Time: April, May and October the cost is $15 per Scout.
