Camp Ireland is located about two miles north of downtown Hillsboro, Oregon, nearly surrounded by McKay Creek. The majority of camp is accessible only by crossing a long suspension bridge. During July and August, the camp is used for Cub Scout Day Camp, but the rest of the year Camp Ireland is available for any Scout group to use.

Cub Scout day camp at Camp Ireland is an exciting program for young Cub Scouts.  The camp features crafts, games, bb guns and archery, songs and skits...all the fun a Cub Scout has been looking forward to all year long!

Camp Ireland is located 2 miles north of Hillsboro, there is plenty of room for five troops to tent camp on this twleve-acre property. It is used heavily for Cub Scout day camp during the summer, but is usually available for weekend camping the rest of the year. The camp is popular for winter camping due to its proximity to the Portland area, and its low elevation.

The camp consists of program shelters, kybos, campfire area, and a well laid out nature trail. Bring containers to carry water to your site, and remember to complete both camp reservation form and local tour permit before camping.

Adopt-A-Project: Camp rangers keep lists of projects that a group, from Cub Scout packs to Boy Scout troops, or even families, Rotary or other service clubs, can 'adopt' based on their skill level and resources.  A sample list of projects can be found on the Adopt-A-Project page, along with contact information for camp rangers so you can find a project suitable for your group.

Camp Host Program: Many camps have Camp Hosts most weekends to help visiting campers maximize their camping experience.  Become a Camp Host to help packs and troops have great weekend camping trips.
