Located on Mt. Hood seven miles past Government Camp, this lodge (formerly called White River) sleeps 144 campers and has four kitchens to accommodate several troops. Mt. Hood Meadows is just two miles away for those wishing to ski, and numerous other activities abound in and around the Government Camp area of Mount Hood.
Parking during the winter months require a Sno Park Permit.
Winter Unit Lodge Use:
Units are encouraged to take their Scouts up to the winter lodges for a day or overnight snow activity. Each weekend December through March is pre-scheduled for packs, troops, teams, and crews to utilize the lodges. Please visit the Winter Lodge page for details and schedule.
