Camp Ireland is located 2 miles north of Hillsboro, there is plenty of room for five troops to tent camp on this 11.64 acre camp. It is used heavily for Cub Scout day camp during the summer, but is usually available for weekend camping the rest of the year. The camp is popular for winter camping due to its proximity to the Portland area, and its low elevation.
The camp consists of program shelters, kybos, campfire area, and a well laid out nature trail. Bring containers to carry water to your site, and remember to complete both camp reservation form and local tour permit before camping.
Please remember to drive slowly into camp. The road is often dusty and neighbor's houses are right near the entrance to camp.
