Located near Willamina, Oregon, and 90 minutes southwest of Portland, Camp Cooper is open for weekend camping September through June depending on current snow level. Reservations and tour permits are required. Camp boasts a delightful self-guided nature trail, waterfall, wild berries, and fishing on Lake Hurl. Camp Cooper is an ideal camp for troops wishing to enjoy the back country. A resident Camp ranger and Campmaster crew are on site each weekend. Drinking water is available from one central location, October 1 to June 1. Chains are required on your vehicle from November 15 to April 1.
