Camp Meriwether/Clark Reservation is the earliest council owned camp, and was acquired in 1926. Located on the Oregon coast south of Cape Lookout with beautiful beach and cove. The Camp is named in honor of the Meriwether Lewis and William Clark Expedition and its wintering at Ft. Clatsop near the Columbia River, north of the Meriwether-Clark Scout reservation.
