Advancement Extravaganza

At this all-day adult-only training event, knowledgeable instructors will lead courses designed to help scout leaders strengthen their knowledge and understanding of the advancement policies and procedures of the Boy Scouts of America and Cascade Pacific Council. This is one of the best opportunities of the year to get your advancement-related questions answered. Leaders new to scouting or their leadership positions will find training and the information they need to help them support their unit’s advancement program. Experienced scouters will pick valuable tips and ideas to take back to their units.

On-line registration begins January 5. Register by February 20 and pay only $12. After February 20, the registration fee is $20. Participants choose up to five 70-minute information- and tip-packed courses from a variety of options covering all aspects of advancement in the different scouting programs – Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturing and Sea Scouts. In addition, each participant will receive an official AE2010 binder, class handouts, advancement resources, and lunch. Nor’west Scout shop will have items available for purchase.

Facility involves some stairs. Please contact us if mobility will be an issue. Lunch with a variety of options will be provided, but we are not able to provide for specific dietary needs.
