SOLVE is a non-profit organization that brings together proud volunteers to improve the environment and to build a legacy of stewardship. There are many great opportunities for Scouts with SOLVE. Organization: Friends of Trees

Friends of Trees is a nonprofit whose mission is to bring people in the Portland-Vancouver, Salem, and Eugene-Springfield metro areas together to plant and care for city trees and green spaces. Since 1989, they have planted nearly half a million trees and native plants. Guy Miller registrations will take place directly through Friends of Trees. The mission of the Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership is to improve the lower Columbia River by protecting and restoring nature and clean water for current and future generations of fish, wildlife, and people. Located on the lower Columbia between Oregon and Washington, they are one of 28 National Estuary Programs in the United States working to improve the health of a nationally significant estuary.
